Remember Photosynth?
Photosynth is a technology that takes many digital pictures from one area and assembles them into to a navigable 3d environment made up of colored dots…The downside is, since its made by microsoft it only works in internet explorer.
I was really interested in seeing how this technology would develop so I kept an eye on their blog. Well yesterday the developers announced that they have created a plugin that allows you to view photosynth in firefox. Also, it was hinted that there will soon be new picture collections to check out.
