Usually when we blog about software, it’s because of features that its got. This time, I’m blogging about the feature it HASN’T got. Yes, “features” that AIM Light doesn’t have. Features like those annoying music ads, the AIM today page nobody read, sounds, expressions, popups, or ads.
It’s just a very simple AIM window where you can chat, with drag- and -drop file sharing. Sounds pretty good. I’ll have to try it sometime. Looks like an interesting start. Some addons might be availible to add sounds and buddy alerts.

AMD will soon begin producing 45-nanometer chips. 45nm is a small chip, and the smaller the chip, the relatively larger a speck of dust becomes. Okay, really, this looks like an interesting idea in theory. A clear plastic wheel. We’ve seen wheels that spin, even wheels with spokes that bend and flex over bumps (search for “tweel” on the blog for that particular post.) Now we’ve got wheels that you can see through. Only $2,000 per wheel, available for 4 and 2 wheeled vehicles.

This is quite useful, especially on systems that load realllllly slowly, or have tons of stuff installed. Acrobat Reader Speedup will tweak the loading time to be much faster. It changes a bit of stuff in the backend, and disables plugins that you definately arent using. Get it here
